‘À la recherche du temps perdu’ – 2024 Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna and Theseus Temple (AT)
On March 2024 in front of the entrance of Theseus`s Temple and in the Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien, the artist has placed the work of art next to Canova`s sculpture `À la recherche du temps perdu`.

The white marble, colossal statue `Theseus beats the Centaur`, made by Antonio Canova, was ordered by the Italian Republic in 1804 to dedicate to Napoleon Bonaparte.
Bonaparte transformed the Italian Republic into the Kingdom of Italy, and proclaimed himself King of Italy on March 17, 1805. The piece of art was exhibited in Canova`s studio in Rome.
Theseus`s Temple in Vienna was built between 1819 and 1823 by the court architect, P. von Nobil, as housing to the contemporary work of art, that was bought by Emperor Franz I of Austria in 1821.
The work has been in the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna since 1891.

Korte interventies van de kunstenaar in mars 2024 om haar werk ‘À la recherche du temps perdu’ neer te zetten voor de ingang van de dichte Tempel Theseus, voor de Kunsthistorisches Museum en in het museum.

Het kolossale witmarmeren beeldhouwwerk ‘Theseus verslaat de Centaur’ van Antonio Canova werd in 1804 door de Italiaanse Republiek besteld om op te dragen aan Napoleon Bonaparte. Bonaparte transformeerde de Italiaanse Republiek in het Koninkrijk Italië en benoemde zichzelf op 17 maart 1805 tot koning van Italië. Het kunstwerk werd tentoongesteld in Canova`s atelier in Rome.
De Tempel van Theseus in Wenen werd tussen 1819 en 1823 gebouwd door de hofarchitect P. von Nobil als huisvesting voor het eigentijdse kunstwerk, dat in 1821 door keizer Frans I van Oostenrijk werd gekocht. Sinds 1891 is het werk te vinden in het Kunsthistorisch Museum in Wenen.
